The Skid Resistance and Friction Testers are used for the measurement of surface friction properties. The apparatus is suitable for both site and laboratory applications and for Polished Stone Value tests using curved specimens from accelerated polishing tests with the Acelereted Polishing Machine (UTA-0810). UTA-0830E can also be used for testing Paving Stones (EN 1341, EN 1342) and Paving Blocks (EN 1338).
The apparatus consist of an adjustable pendulum arm, and a spring loaded rubber slider (see accessories) mounted on the end of the arm.
Rubber sliders should be ordered separately.
The Skid Resistance and Friction Tester is supplied complete with;
