 UTM-0108.SMPR Multiplex Universal Electromechanics Testing Machine have been designed for multipurpose testing applications that require testing in multiple areas such as road construction projects, education laboratories. By displacement control, the MULTIPLEX with appropriate accessories can perform soil tests such as CBR, triaxial (UU, CU and CD), UC, asphalt tests such as Marshall stability, semi circular bearing strength(SCB), indirect tensile (IDT/ TSR).

The machine has a frame capacity is 50 kN (11.200 lbf) with adjustable upper cross beam. This versatile digital loading frame features a microprocessor controlled drive system with an advanced servo motor enabling the operator to easily set any test speed via the UTouch screen comprises adjustment buttons such as “test type”, “pace rate”, “automatic”, “Manuel”, start”, “stop”, ““down”, “up” as well as other user defined test parameters. Load and displacement values are collected by UTouch  Control Unit  and transferred to PC for further processing.

The load is applied by a mechanical jack that is driven by a servo motor with closed loop controlled.

Load cell/s and other suitable test accessories to perform test/s should be ordered separately. The accessories are specified in the table below.

  • -50x0,001 mm Linear Potentiometric Displacement Transducer, (UTGM-0064) and its holders (UTM-0114 and UTAS-1060)

UTouch Control Unit for UTM-0108.SMPR Multiplex

UTouch Control Unit is designed to control the tests by data acquisition process from the loadcell and displacement transducers fitted on UTM-0108.SMPR multiplex test machine.

The Unit can perform tests stand-alone fully, automatic without the need of a PC or USOFT-0108 software. Software can be used to get additional advanges described in the section below.

UTouch incorporates a user-friendly interface that shows all existing menu options as buttons and tabs. Users can activate or deactivate certain functions easily and input test data by using touch-screen keyboard. Parameters such as test information, user information, sample information and test parameters can be modified and saved for later use by operators.

Control Unit offers many additional unique features. UTouch enables the users to display current memory usage and test results with its advanced data and memory management interface. UTouch can export, copy, or delete the test data saved in its internal memory. Results and additional information for previous tests can be recalled using UTouch. Test reports can be instantly printed using an (optional) thermal printer. UTouch TFT can simultaneously display machine status, test values, warnings during operation and test graphs in real time.
